Development Executive Joins Central Leasing Corporation
Birmingham, Ala., June 10, 2003 — Shawn Lowe has joined
Central Leasing Corporation as senior business development officer,
according to an announcement by Doug Mills, president of the
Birmingham-based company.
“We are thrilled to have Shawn joining our team,”
Mills said. “His extensive experience in the finance and leasing
industries, as well as his skills in relationship building and sales, will
be invaluable to Central Leasing Corporation as we continue to grow and
help our clients run their businesses better.”
Most recently, Lowe served as president and founder
of CapitalPartners Leasing, Inc., where he grew the start-up leasing
company from scratch to more than $2.5 million in assets. At
CapitalPartners Leasing, Lowe managed day-to-day operations, originated
and closed commercial equipment leasing transactions, secured funding
opportunities, negotiated bank lines of credit, and established company
credit policy and underwriting guidelines.
Prior to launching CapitalPartners Leasing, Lowe
served as loan officer with Coats & Co., Inc., and as vice president,
sales administration at First Commerce Leasing Corporation. He is a
graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned both a Bachelor of
Arts degree in communications and a Master’s of Business Administration.
